In August 2024, Krasnodar Krai achieved a remarkable 68% increase in rail grain shipments, reaching 160,000 tons compared to the same period in 2023. For the first eight months of 2024, grain loading in Krasnodar Krai exceeded 600,000 tons, marking an 8.5% increase over the previous year. This growth is mirrored in the region’s export performance, with a 10% rise in grain exports from January to July 2024, totaling over 30 million tons. Notably, wheat accounted for over 80% of these exports, with more than 25 million tons shipped—a 4% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
