Agricultural and Transportation Ministers Meet Local Officials in Nova Zagora
Today, June 14, 2024, Bulgaria’s Minister of Agriculture and Food, Dr. Georgi Tahov, and Minister of Transport and Communications, Georgi Gvozdeikov, are set to visit one of the areas most severely impacted by yesterday’s hailstorm—Nova Zagora Municipality in the Sliven Province. At 3:30 PM, the ministers will meet with Mayor Galya Zaharieva at the municipal building to discuss the extent of the damage and strategize relief efforts.
The recent hailstorm has caused significant damage to the agricultural sector, with crops and infrastructure severely affected.
