As of May 20, farmers in Zarinsky District have made remarkable progress in their sowing campaigns, achieving 52.4% of the planned area for grains and legumes—a stark contrast to last year’s 28% at the same time, when cold and rainy weather delayed fieldwork.
Key Achievements by Farm Enterprises:
- SPK “Kolos” has completed 72.3% of sowing: 885 ha of oats, 172 ha of peas, and 786 ha of spring wheat.
- OOO “Blinovskoe” reached 70%: 1,546 ha of barley and 752 ha of spring wheat.
- OOO “Pravy Bereg” achieved 66%: 23 ha of oats, 1,292 ha of barley, and 981 ha of peas.
- SPK Zhdanova completed 68.8%: 600 ha of oats, 420 ha of barley, and 170 ha of spring wheat.
Fodder Crops Show Strong Growth
Fodder crop planting stands at 72%, compared to 57% last season. Farms have nearly synchronized their sowing of oats and peas for monoculture feed. Additionally:
- OOO “Altai” planted 719 ha of corn for silage.
- OOO “Blinovskoe” sowed 838 ha of corn for livestock feed.
Industrial Crops Gain Momentum
Industrial crops have been sown on 63% of the planned area, far surpassing last year’s 29%:
- OOO “Pravy Bereg” exceeded 80%: 1,948 ha of flax and 1,341 ha of rapeseed.
- SPK “Kolos” planted 77% of rapeseed (450 ha).
- OOO “Altai” completed 72%: 1,587 ha of flax and 3,593 ha of rapeseed.
