In 2024, the Volgograd region has notably expanded its grain exports to Azerbaijan, shipping 41,000 tons of grain—over twice the volume exported in the previous year. This substantial increase highlights the region’s growing role in the international grain market and its dedication to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

According to the regional office of Rosselkhoznadzor, each shipment underwent rigorous phytosanitary inspections before departure. These measures ensure that the grain meets the necessary quality and safety requirements, aligning with international export standards. The comprehensive control process includes checking for pests and diseases, ensuring that the product is both safe and of high quality for the importing country.

This achievement reflects the Volgograd region’s commitment to enhancing its export capabilities and meeting the evolving demands of international markets. The increase in exports not only signifies a boost in regional agricultural productivity but also demonstrates the effective implementation of stringent quality control measures.

The Volgograd region’s impressive growth in grain exports to Azerbaijan highlights its ability to scale up production while adhering to strict quality standards. This success underscores the region’s potential to expand its presence in global markets and sets a benchmark for other agricultural exporters.
