The spring planting season of crops has ended in the Kashira region

This week, agricultural producers in the Kashira region are completing the spring sowing of crops. The planned area for this year is 12,242 hectares, which is an increase compared to 2023. Currently, 7,172.5 hectares are occupied by spring grain and leguminous crops, which is 83.4% of the plan, and 4,072 hectares by industrial crops. Potato and vegetable crops occupy 405 hectares. Winter crops, especially winter wheat, are also growing throughout the region.

Agricultural work in the Kashira region is going according to plan, significant success has been achieved in sowing spring crops. This year, the total area of ​​spring crops increased from 11,551.5 hectares in 2023 to 12,242 hectares. Currently, 7,172.5 hectares are occupied by spring grain and leguminous crops, which is 83.4% of the planned area, and 4,072 hectares are occupied by industrial crops. In addition, potatoes and vegetables are grown on 405 hectares of land.

Expansion of spring plantings
The increase in the acreage of spring crops reflects Kashira’s vigorous efforts to develop agriculture. With 89% of the planned area already planted, the region is well on track to achieve its agricultural goals for the season.

Winter crops and regional support

In addition to spring crops, winter crops such as winter wheat flourish on 5,152 hectares. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region continues to supervise and support agricultural producers in Kashira, ensuring efficient operation of farms and labor productivity.
