New Horizons in Agriculture: Tula Farmers to Cultivate Crops on Leased Lands in Kashira

The Tula-based company, Agrokomplex Bolokhovo, has embarked on an ambitious project to cultivate perennial agricultural crops on newly leased lands in Kashira. According to the Ministry of Property Relations of the Moscow Region, the company has been granted a five-year lease on 26 hectares of land, as part of a broader initiative to enhance regional agricultural productivity.

Expanding Agricultural Footprint

Agrokomplex Bolokhovo has secured a total of 45 hectares across three plots, with two plots exceeding 26 hectares in Kashira and a third plot of approximately 18 hectares in Serpukhov. This expansion is facilitated by favorable investment credits provided by the government, reinforcing the company’s long-term vision for sustainable agricultural development.

Crop Variety and Regional Impact

The company specializes in cultivating a diverse range of perennial crops, including wheat, rye, barley, rapeseed, soybeans, and buckwheat. This diversification not only meets the demands of different regions within Russia, including the Moscow Region but also enhances food security and agricultural resilience.
